The MF12/1 is a prunus avium selection from the English Research Station in East Malling. It has great vigor and also great field resistance against bacterial cancer. The MF12/1 is very stiff rootstock and in combination with his resistance and vigor very often used for sweet cherry trees in gardens as park and avenue tree.
