The Elliot is one of the most popular northern high-bush varieties in the early late season. The Elliott has a moderate up-growing vigor and can have larger yields than other northern highbush varieties. The fruit tends to be tart if not completely ripened and is sensitive to wrinkle.

Elliott plants have an average vigor but must be pruned in the correct way to retain bush growth and also berry size.
