The Malus domestica A2 or Alnarp 2 is a very winter hardy, vigorous rootstock introduced in 1944.
It produces large free-standing trees. The A2 induces early bearing and reasonable good productivity.
This rootstock is suitable for extensive orchards in cold areas.
