Malus d. M9 RN.29

This Malus domestica M9 RN29 is a more vigorous clone of the M9, it is about 10% more vigorous than the T337 or NAKB clone. This rootstock produces a less brittle root system than other less vigorous M9 clones. The also called NIC.29 clone promotes large fruit size and early cropping. Also fruit trees on the RN.29 clone rootstock requires support and supplemental irrigation is still recommended.
